Hoedown

It is a boot-scootin’, hoopla good time!

Everyone has fun with carnival games, a bounce house,  photo booth, Raffle items are donated such as bikes, scooters, pintas, jewelry and winning is fun for everyone. We sell pizza, hotdogs, and baked sale items. Students entertain parents, families and the neighborhood with our western style dancing and singing. The Hoedown starts at 6 PM, complete with sound system and lighting, on the basketball court.|

Mrs. Wyler, Principal, begins the performance by welcoming our alumni who love to attend our school performances.  The show starts with all K-6th graders performing patriotic numbers.

Cowboy Hat

Watch our K-6th graders perform their individual class dance and song to their favorite western number.  A talented group of fiddlers will be performing numbers they have been practicing. For the finale, a 15-foot sign is brought out, with the  words to the chorus of a favorite country song, and soloist sing the verses and the audience joins in to sing the chorus, while the K-6th graders dance to an audience of over 250 . It’s a ‘boot-scootin’ , hoopla good time!

Watch the video.  It was so much fun!!!

The “Hoe Down” was a fun-filled event for all ages! The bounce house was a big hit — even better and safer than a trampoline. The food court and games were a total success, drawing in crowds and keeping everyone entertained. The raffle featured a wide array of exciting prizes, including a brand-new bike.

We had so many graduates in attendance that we invited them up to the stage for a group photo. Afterwards, they stayed to perform some of our traditional songs alongside the students. It was a heartwarming moment that turned out beautifully and received many accolades.

String Concert, Winter Concert, & K Marching for Vetrans Day

The School Students performed December 11th (K-6th grades) as shown in the video on the left.

This is a traditional concert every December since 1996.  Every class performed along with a few solo numbers, small groups Kids Next Door.
